The IDENTITY Project

Natalie, Jersey, UK

Natalie

Natalie is a fierce ally. She’s married to a straight man and identifies as one of the fifty shades of gay that most people are. She has been a politics student, world traveller, and party animal. Now she’s a mother, a volunteer in the musical theatre world and a vegan. Everything she has been and everyone she’s met have got her to a place where she can be herself. She’d like others to have the same experience of being who they are and identifying how they wish.

What does your identity mean to you?

My identity is not that important to me as I am, in general, quite a strong and confident person, excluding periods of mental illness. My purpose is to support those who need it and create a community where people can be themselves and grow confidence in their individuality. I’m at my happiest making others happy.
