Ivor Caplin
Born in Brighton, Ivor was elected to Hove Borough Council in 1991 and later became its Leader. He was elected as Member of Parliament for Hove in 1997, became an Assistant Government Whip and then Parliamentary Under Secretary of State and Minister for Veterans at the Ministry of Defence.
He now runs his own consultancy, is Chair of the Terrence Higgins Trust Advisory Board and a campaigner for PrEP.
