Dr Ranj

A NHS doctor specialising in the health and welling of children and young people, Dr Ranj is best known as a BAFTA-award-winning TV presenter on BBC and ITV, and celebrity dancer on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.

He is the author of two Sunday Times best-selling books, a contributor and columnist for a number of publications, and also a charity ambassador for various causes.

What does your identity mean to you?

My identity is how I show myself. It’s an amalgamation of my heritage, my culture, my upbringing, my experience and my self. My identity is something that I am now proud of as someone who has felt uncomfortable in their own skin for so long.
