George Phillips
Born and raised in Barnet, the borough holds a special place in George’s heart and its accepting and inclusive environment, multifaceted culture and heritage has shaped them into the person they are today.
Recognising the need for support, empowerment, and visibility within the LGBTQ+ community, George founded Barnet’s very own LGBTQ+ community organisation which has created safe spaces, organised events, and facilitated connections between individuals who share similar experiences. Their aim is to uplift and empower all members of the community, regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation.
