Rae
A Sussex university graduate, Rae is a journalist, news writer and columnist at Brighton’s LGBTQ+ Scene magazine.
What does your identity mean to you?
My identity as a queer woman is at the core of who I am as a person; it means freedom to live without constraint from societal norms. It has also introduced me to such an incredible and vibrant community of fellow LGBTQ+ people who have showed me how resilient we can be even in the face of adversity.
