Zack Polanski
A theatre actor and politician, Zack is running as a Green Party candidate for the London Assembly elections in 2021. He is a proud and loud advocate of LGBTQ+ rights who believes there is no environmental justice without social justice.
What does your identity mean to you?
I have a strong sense of my current identity being to help represent others and speak up for the voices of the marginalised.
To recognise the freedom I have as an individual whilst also recognising the responsibility we all have to make sure everyone is included.
Examples of my frame of identity can be LGBT+, vegan, cyclist, activist, brother, son and friend.
I hope to continue to find ways for other communities particularly those marginalised – that my identity will be ‘Ally.’
