My name is Dan and I’m a creative living in Brighton. I feel very lucky to be in a city like Brighton that celebrates differences in identity and creative thinking. I was a very sad kid battling with not wanting to be gay, so I do feel like I’m living a dream being my authentic self, with someone I love in a place that always feels like home. In my partner Adam I have found my other half and being an imaginative couple lets us both explore the world of art and design together.
What does your identity mean to you?
I’ve gone from someone who hid my identity until I came out at 18 to being proud of myself and my LGBTQ+ family.
