Alongside being a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Ian also has the honour of serving as a dedicated member of the Army Cadets.
Ian is passionate about diversity and inclusion, and in his spare time, loves hiking and exploring new places.
What does your identity mean to you?
Identity means being true to myself. Being a part of the LGBTQIA+ community holds significant importance in my life. I’ve experienced triumphs, faced challenges, and enjoyed meaningful moments. Each experience has shaped who I am today, and I find strength in being authentically myself. Identity is about accepting and celebrating who I am without feeling the need to conform to anyone else’s expectations.
