John Rossington
Brought up in Brighton, John was a SGLF activist in the early 1970s and took part in the first Gay Pride march 50 years ago. He was one of the youngest people on the march. He co-authored, with Ruth Hubbard, of the first study of the needs of older lesbians and gay men “As We Grow Older” published in 1995.
What does your identity mean to you?
It is central to my existence.
