Mark Ward
The world’s first and only LGBTQ+ Ambassador for Haemophilia, Mark is an equality activist, sexuality, sexual health and HIV educator, long term HIV survivor, infected as a child, and victim of the contaminated blood scandal due to severe haemophilia. He founded Haemosexual because there was no recognition, information or support for people with a bleeding disorder who identify as LGBTQ+ with questions about sexual health/sexuality.
What does your identity mean to you?
Everything. The LGBTQ+ community is made up of people from every aspect of life and is not recognised enough.
